Our Approach
Our approach is to understand your needs, goals and objectives; we help you determine your emotional and financial priorities and then discuss how to meet them.
We will discuss with you the nature of the legal process and help you determine a range of possible outcomes for your individual matter; we settle cases when they fall in the ‘high range of fair’ but we don’t hesitate to try them if you want or need a different outcome, or if, due to the positions of others, we just cannot ‘negotiate to fair’. We are also increasingly looking to private mediation and arbitration to resolve our matters.
Truth matters: we will never hesitate to employ every discovery and litigation tool at our disposal to make sure the result is based on an accurate assessment of the facts, and is the result that works.
We want you to be in the best possible position to put the past behind you.
We also know that ‘one-size fits all’ isn’t the best approach to people or to legal practice. We believe we are guides as well as advocates in the process. While we prefer to represent you over the entire course of your matter, we try to work within your budget; That means we will employ limited scope representation to handle only part of the case. We will also provide remote consultation for simple questions should you decide to represent yourself.
