Hope.
I was less than fully present at my annual trip to the land of the Mouse this year.
My thoughts often ran away from the lightness of being here. I am troubled by the state of the world; I can’t open any news source, however unbiased, without noting the political, social and personal divisions that seem to add crushing weight to the future time. I worked daily here; my office has matters that press intensely and, always seeking to lift others up, we feel the weight too.
I sat and looked at the view above just now.
And, in the decision between cynicism, and hope, where else could I be to better remind me to chose HOPE.
