A summer to remember

The post-pandemic pressures present themselves in the rush of cases bottlenecked at the courthouse steps. The varied manner of work, and work from home, is still a transition in progress for most of us. My election has been to toggle between an office space and a home space, allowing professional and personal time to blend together in my days and nights in this stage of life. Like many, priorities were reimagined in 2020 but I was blessed enough to emerge health intact, and family members whole and safe; I am thankful.

I also had hoped that, by now, we would not only have a legal system reimagined but also reopened. Not quite the life yet, and not quite so. It is the in-betweens that are most difficult - and these are they days of them.
